Slower Than Molasses

That’s pretty much the only title I can think of for this post because that’s exactly what I’ve been… slower than molasses.

Last week, the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival (also noted as the Brooklyn Bodega Festival) announced that the nomadic soul of Zaki Ibrahim, who blessed Philly with a few tracks a month or so back, will be holding it down at this years event.

With any luck, this could be reminiscent of T-dot holding it down for the Turnstlyez crew at the ITF battle, back in 98.

When Zaki last performed at the Mod Club they handed out these vouchers to download 2 songs off her latest album, Purple Electronica through her MySpace page. Since it seems to no longer work here is my favourite of the two, it’s called Computer Girl. If you’re in the NY area during July – July , you might want to check her out.
