Jose James – Live Concert

Brooklyn based Jose James has been silently tearing up the music from coast to coast and will finally touch down in the Toronto on Friday June 27 at the Supermarket as part of the Toronto Jazz Festival. At first glance Jose carries a certain 90’s b-boy aesthetic in his style of dress and projects hiphop but upon hearing his well honed vocals there will be no doubt he is a bonafide star. In my opinion Mr James “got next” which is why Giles Peterson quickly scooped him up and signed him to his record label – Brownswood. As my man Guru from Gangstar said ” it’s mainly the voice”………Above is the video of a concert
